James was originally written to let (Jewish) believers in Jesus know the importance of having a practical, living, everyday faith. According to James, practical faith equaled good works as the essential fruit of salvation. ‘Everyday Christianity’ challenges believers to be doers of the word and not hearers only. May the Lord use these messages to encourage you to live out your faith.
